  The first public pre-release of Wisp, a fast, fun web framework for Rust: file routes, .wisp templates compiled to Rust, form actions, one binary.

  This is a pre-release. The real release will be on GitHub (https://github.com/wyziedevs/wisp), which we cannot use yet. Until then the source lives on this server, and it moves to GitHub and crates.io with the full 1.0 release.

  Install

  You need Rust 1.89 or later.

  cargo install --git https://code.wispweb.dev/wispdev/wisp wisp-web
  wisp new my-app
  cd my-app
  wisp dev

  • This server is for the Wisp project only; accounts are closed. Ask and report bugs in the Wisp Discord: https://discord.gg/2mxraHBVtB
  • Crates are not on crates.io yet, so apps made with wisp new depend on this repository by git.
  • The version in Cargo.toml is still 0.1.0; it changes with the crates.io publish.
